WORKING WITH STOCKHAUSEN'S STIMMUNG, 1968

Choreographer Daria Faïn works alongside the six-member Vocal ensemble Magic Names who sing an abbreviated version of composer Karlheinz Stockhausen's Stimmung live. Into this architecture of sound, a vocalization of phonetics forming the names of fifty-one Gods from diverse cultures and times, Fain, as soloist, joins dance to music in this celebration of creation itself.
