Mission:
This comprehensive study program covers multiple interdependent aspects of health, spirituality, and creativity, providing students with a well-rounded education.
My long-term research is inspired by an endless curiosity about the human experience as a means of creating performances, which led me to become an Alexander teacher and a never-ending student of Tao and Tibetan Buddhism.
The program is conceived with different modules focusing on complementary aspects of being.
The seeker of happiness is within us, and strength and fluidity in the body support a mind at rest and vis versa. The program is a journey to unify mind and body as we experience the dynamics of our emotions and psyche within spaciousness in the creative impetus of the art of life.
The program is addressed to all levels of experience.
It is designed to be taken one module at a time, as a combination of modules, or as the program as a whole.
The program will officially begin in January. I will offer a series of teachings from October through December for people who want to try classes.

This cycle of 20 weekly classes will focus on the transition from the element of water/winter to wood/spring.
Tues and Thurs 10 am - 12 pm.

April: 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 and 17

MEDIATION ABSORPTION:
February 14, 12, and 28 - March 7, 14, 21, and 28 - April 4 and 11.
In this class, Daria will provide simple guidance on opening to an awakened state of rest, drawing on simple sitting contemplative practices from the Taoist and Buddhist traditions.
When our mind/heart is resting, whatever occurs becomes part of the all-encompassing space within which all is subsumed. There is no need to accept or reject what arises within or no need to achieve anything by trying.

Centralize the nervous system and energy to sprout!
As a wood Snake!
This workshop explores the force relating to birth, growth, and renewal.
Through inner vision into visibility, it is the path of knowledge, interconnectivity, and the surge into action.
Physically, the spirit of the Wood dynamic agent is expressed through our liver and gallbladder.
The liver oxygenates the blood, and the gallbladder acts as a catalyst for digestion. When both are healthy, we have a sense of flow between vision and action, a balance between rooting and expanding our vision into the world. It can also feel like frustration or anger as a power of transformation for growth.
The Wood also expresses itself in our sinew's connective tissues, making us move swiftly.
The works will involve Ironshirt Qigong and the intuitive exploration of wood energy––a conduit to envision and invoke the New Year of the Wooden Snake.
