As always WEDNESDAY classes focus on what I refer as our INNER STRUCTURE. This class addresses strength, flexibility, and a specific approach of energy balance through the Chinese Five Element Theory. The class offers a technical learning of movement and an intuitive journey to gain awareness of the interplay among the different systems affecting movement within and without. Daria Faïn offers a synthesis of her in-depth practice of Qi Kung, Martial Arts, Alexander Technique and her unique creative practice as a choreographer, performer and somatic practitioner.

RECYCLE STRESS INTO VITALITY: 6 Healing Sounds -The Microcosmic Orbit - Inner Smile.
These three basic practices are the essential tools to start your journey into the beautiful Taoist cosmology that bridges our health with the universal forces. This particular teaching is from The Universal Healing Tao founded by Grand Master Mantak Chia, of which I am a instructor since 2001.
The 6 Healing Sounds are an effective way of restoring and maintaining balance of your emotions and internal organs.
The Inner Smile connects with your original force as an energy to cultivate, store and move internally.
The Microcosmic Orbit is a practice that links the 2 major meridians in the body, balances Yin and Yang energy, and enables you to multiply the energy flow in the other meridians.

I have developed this meditation in the last year and find it incredibly beneficial in calming the mind. It is inspired by a Buddhist lecture from Thich Nhat Hanh. It liberates our mind and gives mind/body awareness.

This is a Qi Kung standing meditation with incredible benefits. It gives you calm and strength at once. We will work progressively until we are able to hold the tree over 20 minutes! You will feel very energized and grounded.
